psychotherapy for What haunts you
I have been drawn to haunted houses my whole life because they are such powerful metaphors for grief and trauma. They are places filled with so much story, and it’s only once you stay a while and learn the history of the house that you begin to understand how it feels. They say that once you acknowledge and release the ghost, you can begin building new memories in that house, and I believe this to be true.
Perhaps you are processing the death of a loved one, or trying to understand the narratives that a traumatic relationship caused you to believe about yourself. By understanding and processing our experiences of grief and trauma, we can create new neural pathways that open up possibilities for not only healing and integration, but for new stories to be told.
I incorporate both tarot and dream work into my practice as tools to help clients explore fields of psychic terrain, helping to connect with deeper layers of knowing.
Maybe you identify as a haunted house. Or perhaps you’re the final girl in a horror movie — the one that survives to tell the tale. My practice is a place to make sense of the stories and experiences living inside of you that are just waiting to be told.
